Due to COVID-19 we are running camps with reduced numbers.
Numbers have been reduced to 80 players (40 per pitch). There will be some restrictions in place during the camps, these will sent to all parents before the camps take place.

Our camps run for between 2 and 5 days and cater for all school children from 1st class upwards. Participants will be divided into smaller groups where the ratio of coach to players is roughly 1:12. Camps run from 10am to 2pm each day. The guiding principle behind our hockey camps is for players to have fun without compromising on learning and technique. Our camps are overseen by some of Munster’s best young coaches. Many are Division 1 players boasting representative experience with Munster and Ireland, while our coaching roster also includes past and present coaches of the Munster U16 and U18 boys and girls teams. All are passionate about Munster hockey and are focused on helping to develop players of all abilities in the province.
Junior camps are aimed at primary school players between 1st and 6th class who are in the early stages of their hockey careers; the focus will be on basics and games for the younger players, while the older ones will get introductions to some more testing skills – all while retaining the fun element that underpins the Southern Fried Hockey ethos.
Senior camps are aimed at secondary school students from 1st to 6th year with experience of competitive 11-a-side hockey who wish to work on the more advanced tactical, technical and matchplay skills they will need as they make the transition to senior club hockey, move up the leagues and aim to get selected for Munster and Ireland.
Ours are among the most competitively priced hockey camps in Ireland. The cost per person is €120 for a four-day camp, €90 for a three-day camp and €60 for a two-day camp, provided the player attends all available days. The price for partial camp attendance is €40 per day where available.
