Pending recovery from an untimely bout of tonsillitis,
Southern Fried is off on holidays for a couple of weeks, so the site will not be updated during that time. For updates in the meantime, check out Stephen Findlater’s superb
The Hook blog if you don’t already – the focus in the coming days will surely turn to the men’s Europeans, where Ireland will be bidding to win back their A division status that was lost in 2007.
A few things to look out for when
Southern Fried returns include a series of interviews with some of the coaches who are taking on new assignments for the coming season, starting with Bryan O’Donovan’s thoughts on rebuilding with Belvedere ladies as they begin life in Division Two.
We’ll also be talking to one of Ireland’s top umpires about how the auto-pass rule will impact on the game at all levels in Munster, as well as looking at an exciting new initiative from the Munster Branch to develop the best young talent in the province. On the lighter side, there will also be a little treat to mark the blog’s one-year anniversary in August.
In the meantime,
Southern Fried hopes everyone’s enjoying their summer wherever ye are – over and out!
Sounds like an exciting line up, I always enjoy the interviews keep up the excellent work!!
