Cork Harlequins will host a fundraising fashion show next week, with Cork GAA stars Aidan Walsh, Lorcan McLoughlin and Ciaran Sheehan among those set to grace the catwalk.
Fresh from winning the intervarsities with CIT – their first ever hockey tournament – Young Footballer of the Year Walsh and Cork senior hurler McLoughlin have chosen to continue their ties with hockey by helping out at Farmer’s Cross.
They will be joined on the catwalk by Sheehan, Claire McDonald of Lockdown Models and a number of Quins players, including Irish international defender Cliodhna Sargent and Acacia Taylor.
The fashion show will feature a selection of clothing from shops in Douglas Court, Kinsale and Cork city centre, and will take place at the Quins clubhouse at Farmer’s Cross next Thursday, November 11 at 7.30pm.
There will be a wine reception, stalls and goodie bags for all attendees. Tickets are priced €20 and are available from Cliodhna on 0871305086, or the bar in the clubhouse.
