Those who reckon they could cut the mustard by representing Munster at the annual women’s Junior Interprovincials are being asked to attend a final trial at Harlequin Park this Sunday.
The management team, made up of David Egner, Brian Hayes Curtin and Kay Gaffney, are seeking players to augment a squad that is rich in talent but relatively inexperienced.
Amid some controversy, Munster failed to field a team in last year’s tournament, but are determined to get back on track this season at the competition, which is set to be held in Ulster in April.
While 19 players from six clubs made it through the first trial, all who did not attend that are welcome to come along to Sunday’s trial, which will be held at Harlequin Park from 4.30pm-7pm.
