The men’s Munster junior team will begin to build their squad this coming weekend as they look to claim their interprovincial title for the third time in four years at Hillsborough from April 17-19.
Following a long search to install a coaching team, the 2008 winners will hold their first trial at Harlequin Park this Sunday, April 5, from 4pm-6.30pm.
This year’s team will be coached by Quins’ Brian Hayes Curtin, with John Moloney – who guided Fermoy to the final of the ladies Irish Hockey Trophy last weekend – assisting as well as managing the side.
Schoolboys will not be eligible for the squad, but all others who wish to put their ring in the hat are being invited to attend the trial. Please email John Moloney on jwmoloney(at)vodafone(dot)ie if you wish to attend.
