One of the shots of last season, taken by Eoin Tyrrell, sees Annadale's Paul Jackson finding the net against Quins with a superb reverse.
With the new season almost upon us, Southern Fried is on the lookout for budding photographers to help ensure the 2009/10 campaign is captured in pictures as well as words.
Photography has proven to be a huge part of the co-operative effort of hockey blogging, with the advent of the Irish Hockey Photographers Flickr site allowing players and fans alike access to top-notch images of their matches.

While Southern Fried isn’t in a position to pay photographers, it’s worth noting that many of those who have contributed to the site have successfully earned money for their work by getting it published in the Irish Examiner, Irish Times and Evening Echo, subsequently building contacts for other freelance work.

Maybe it wasn’t interfering with play !
I saw a similar important goal by Quins disallowed for less.a couple of seasons ago.
Don’t see anything wrong with that. Even if he made contact and deflected it in, it would be an outrageously good piece of skill rather than something dangerous that had to be punished. Look at the position of the defenders, no one is in any danger.
Dunno if this helps the debate or not, but the reverse shot from the player on the left (Paul Jackson) went straight in – the other Annadale player, Fraser Mills, didn’t get any touch
sma: the rule states that if the ball is played above the shoulder then it is a free so danger doesn’t even come into the equation… but in this case he did not play it.
Jesus, if this counts for debate, its been a slow news week!
