Quins skipper Cregan ruled out of ‘Money encounter

Cork Harlequins have been dealt a significant blow ahead of tomorrow’s Irish Hockey League clash with Ballymoney at the Joey Dunlop Centre after captain Eimear Cregan was ruled out with a foot problem.
Irish skipper Cregan has suffered a reoccurrence of an injury picked up over the summer, having made her comeback for Quins in the Munster league in recent weeks.
She also took a full part in last weekend’s Irish super camp in Jordanstown, and it is not yet clear if the injury will cause her to miss any other games.
Despite a morale-boosting 2-0 win over Cork C of I last weekend, Quins will go into their clash as underdogs, having exited the Irish Senior Cup at the hands of ‘Money on home turf last season.
